Summary:
The Healthcare Administrator is responsible for overseeing and managing the operational aspects of healthcare facilities within the Public Health department. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a deep understanding of healthcare administration principles. The Healthcare Administrator will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to the community.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement strategic plans and policies to improve healthcare services and meet the needs of the community.
2. Manage and coordinate the daily operations of healthcare facilities, including budgeting, staffing, and resource allocation.
3. Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations, standards, and policies.
4. Foster a positive and inclusive working environment that promotes teamwork, professional growth, and high employee morale.
5. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, department heads, and external partners to optimize patient care and outcomes.

Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, public health, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
2. Proven experience in healthcare administration, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
3. Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, policies, and standards (e.g., HIPAA, OSHA, JCAHO).
4. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
5. Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
6. Sound financial acumen and experience in budgeting, resource allocation, and cost control.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences.
8. Proficient in using healthcare management software and electronic health record systems.
9. Proven problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with a focus on finding innovative solutions.
